Virtual Boy System Info

The Virtual Boy, first released August.14.1995, was probably Nintendo's least successful console. I consists of a Terminator looking goggle thing that is supposed to go on your head, and a controller connected to it.

Despite it looking silly and having only red and black graphics it is actually pretty fun. It was almost completely 3-D and looked pretty good for a console of its time.

It started out costing $180. However Nintendo dropped the price many times to try and increase the amount of units sold. Despite their efforts only about one-quarter of a million units sold.

Overall this system was okay. It is worth a lot more because there are so few of them. The fact that it runs on batteries and does not have multi colors makes it even worse. I think this system was under appreciated but it still wasn't Nintendo's best system ever.
