GCN Warp Pipe

Warp Pipe was a software created by Chad Paulson of IGN Boards. It was created in the summer of 2003 when Nintendo announced that Mario Kart: Double Dash would not feature online mode but would feature LAN mode.

It allows players to play online with the three games that feature LAN mode (Kirby Air Ride, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and 1080 Avalanche). It is owned by Warp Pipe Technologies. To play online you must have the software running through a PC.

This was a nice feature, however new versions of the software are no longer made. Older versions of the software still work though. The main site (which can be found here) is moving servers (according to the website). This is a nice way to play online with the Game Cube that few people knew about.
