GameBoy System Info
There were two versions to this sytem. There was the GameBoy and then there was the GameBoy Color.
Each was good in its own way. And both started off Nintendo's creation of handheld video games. This system was first
released in 1989.First I'll talk about the GameBoy. The GameBoy only featured black pixels across the screen. It also only had games that didn't take much color, or any color at all. Then they turned those games into completely black, maybe with a little shading.
It started out with an MSRP of about $90. It was pretty simple with only an A, B, Start, Select, and D-Pad for buttons. However that did not limit the gameplay value by any means.
Now I will talk about the GameBoy Color. It was first released in November of 1998. It was better than the GameBoy because of it having color and alot better sound.
The GameBoy color used an Infrared Port which allowed people to play multiplayer wirelessly. However, not very many games supported it and it was no longer used in the GameBoy/handheld series.
Both systems were nice for their time and will forever have revolutionized the gaming industry.
